Christian Audigier – A Fashion Legend

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

Mention Christian Audigier clothing to anyone who knows a bit about fashion, and they will likely start talking about trucker hats and Von Dutch. They will probably mention marriage Hardy and tattoos. They might bring up some of the major celebrities who frequently wear his designs-celebrities like Madonna, Busta Rhymes, Diddy, and Paris Hilton. Photographs of stars wearing Audigier’s crystal-studded sweatshirts, tattooed t-shirts, and other distinctive creations can be seen everyday online and in magazines.

Audigier is quite a big fish in the big pond of fashion-nearly everyone knows of his clothing. Currently, Audigier has seven very successful, well-established clothing lines: ‘Ed Hardy,’ ‘Christian Audigier,’ ‘Crystal Rock,’ ‘SMET,’ ‘Chuck Boyd,’ ‘C-Bar-A,’ and ‘Paco Chicano.’ Each of Christian Audigier’s clothing lines is unique, and each has helped to build the Christian Audigier clothing brand into one of the biggest of the fashion world.

However, Audigier didn’t just build his own clothing lines without cutting his teeth elsewhere first. He began working with denim when he was younger, as he had a dream of becoming a rock-and-roll star. The collection he designed-which he has said was inspired by the Rolling Stones-was discovered by an executive at ‘MacKeen Jeans.’ This led him to a long and interesting career working with designer jean companies. Audigier worked with ‘Levi’s,’ ‘Diesel,’ ‘Bisou Bisou,’ ‘American Outfitters,’ and ‘Fiorucci’ clothing companies-and, at each company, he became a driving force within the company. This is why people even today call Audigier, “The King of Jeans.” His skills in working with denim can be seen in many of the Christian Audigier clothing creations for his various clothing lines today.

After working with the various denim lines, Audigier began working with Von Dutch-and he is widely credited with putting Von Dutch on the fashion map. These days, Christian Audigier clothing lines include hats that are very much like the trucker hats that Audigier made famously popular when he was with Von Dutch. These hats are elegantly embroidered with designs much like the Ed Hardy tattoos displayed on Audigier’s other items of clothing. Skulls and crossbones, cannabis leaves, panthers, Christian Audigier monograms, and other designs are characteristic of these hats.

When Audigier left Von Dutch, he wanted to design a line based around tattoos. After a Google search for “famous tattoo artist” led him to Don Ed Hardy, the rest is history. Audigier formed a partnership with Hardy, named the line ‘Ed Hardy,’ and placed Hardy’s exquisitely intricate tattooed designs on t-shirts, hoodies, and other clothing items. These Christian Audigier clothing items continue to be some of the most popular sellers among all of Audigier’s pieces.

Christian Audigier’s clothing appeals to both men and women of nearly any age, which is something that cannot be said for many clothing lines. Celebrities love to wear the pieces, but then so does everyone else. Audigier really knows how to allure all walks of people with his clothing designs. Christian Audigier clothing is really more than a brand-it is more like a culture.

Christian Audigier Clothing is created by famed French designer, Christian Audigier. Every Christian Audigier Shirt has multiple prints and tattoo-inspired graphics.

Single Girl’s Guide to Makeover Magic

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

Let’s face it, girlfriends. Thanks to cable TV, we’re now addicted to endless episodes of makeover shows where each “Plain Jane,” with her closet-from-hell, learns to choose the right clothes, makeup, and hair style, then right before our eyes, transforms into a real beauty! And, ever notice how looking great makes her feel empowered? And, all in less than an hour! Amazing!

But, what if this new self-confident charmer is one of the millions of your single sisters on the hunt for Prince Charming, who happens to be on the hunt for his Princess Charming? Well, in that case, this might be the perfect time to check in with your mirror, mirror on the wall to see how you fair with all this growing competition.

You know, Cinderella had this so easy. With the wave of a wand, and a bit of “bibbity bobbity boo,” her fairy godmother morphed her from rags to riches, then sent her off to the Ball looking like the Princess she was about to become, and the rest is history!

In the real world, this all gets a bit more complicated. For starters, chances are your prince will first see you dressed for the mall, not the Ball. Plus, your chances of being the next TV makeover are pretty slim. You could hire a fashion savvy godmother, AKA a fashion consultant, but if a fee of $200 + is not in your budget, what’s a girl like you to do when the whole point is to leave a first impression that leaves a potential prince wanting more?

Well, a girl like you will take charge of her life. Presenting the I’ll Do It MYSELF Makeover!

You start with your face. Of course, if you’re thinking, “How ’bout I start with something else,” remember Cindy Crawford’s immortal words: “Even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.” So, again, your face is your focus, specifically the colors of your face. I promise you, when you learn how to use the power of color to compliment your eyes, skin, and natural hair color, just like on the makeover shows, magic will happen! Those eyes will sparkle and your complexion will glow. And, glowing is definitely a plus for first impressions, especially when your prince will remember forever the first time he saw your face.

On the other hand, glowing is practically impossible when you wear colors that plastic surgey with your own. For example, if you have watercolor eyes, translucent skin, and hair the color of soft wheat, imagine the catastrophe of deep bronze makeup, double black eyeliner, and a dayglow dress with dark chunky jewelry. Right! Not good! The strong colors overpower your own, and POOF! you disappear. Wearing colors paler than your own washes out your natural glow so you look tired and older than you are. Again, not good. To go for the glow, here are the “must knows” that make it happen!

UNDERSTANDING BASIC COLOR ANALYSIS

Many fashion consultants rely on the Munsell Color System to accurately determine a client’s color palette. This scientific system is based on three components: HUE, VALUE, and CHROMA:

HUE is simply the color’s name.
Simple Hues: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.
Compound hues: Yellow-Red, Green-Yellow, Blue-Green, Purple-Blue and Red-Purple.
VALUE: How light marriage dark a color is.
The more white in a color, the higher the value. True black has the lowest value, true white has the highest.
CHROMA: The clarity or strength of the color.
Muted, grayed colors have low chroma; clear, vibrant, bright colors have high chroma.

HOW TO DETERMINE MAKEUP COLORS

FOUNDATION: Match to the skin tone at the outer corner of your eyes. Blend the makeup on your face and neck, and then match to your skin tone in both indoor lighting and sunlight. Hint: To ensure you choose the correct foundation color, take a friend along for a second opinion.

EYE MAKEUP: Use your lash and brow color for everyday mascara, eye liner and brow pencil. For a more dramatic effect, increase the makeup’s color value. Choose eye shadow in your eye or brow color. Hint: Your eyes contain a rainbow of complimentary colors. Use a magnifying mirror to see the full spectrum.

LIPSTICK and BLUSH: Match to your cheeks and lips. Gently pinch both cheeks and lips, noting if the color goes pink, red, or orange.

With a bit of practice, your makeup routine will take you from ordinary to glowing in five minutes or less.

HOW TO DETERMINE WARDROBE COLORS

If you’ve spent a lifetime believing you can’t wear certain colors, then understanding Hue, Value, and Chroma opens up a whole new world. Just imagine! Red is not just one color, but a full range of options from yellow-red to purple-red, from pastel pink to deepest burgundy, all from which you choose the reds that compliment you.

REDS: Your cheek and lip colors
GREENS / BLUES: For green or blue eyes, use your eye color. For brown or black eyes, use green or blue in your eye “rainbow,” or use a color wheel to match your eye color to complimentary greens or blues. www.realcolorwheel.com/colorwheel.htm
YELLOWS: Trickiest of all colors to determine. Usually Summers and Springs wear soft yellow; Falls wear golden yellow; Winters wear intense, bright yellow.
NEUTRALS: Current or former (if your hair is colored or grayed) natural hair color, and eyes if primarily brown or black. Use neutrals for suits, coats, skirts, pants, jackets, shoes and purses.

BASIC STYLE DESCRIPTIONS

Color analysts often use the four seasons to harmonize skin, eye and hair color with the complimentary fashion style. These descriptions only touch the surface of how color transforms your self image and creates unforgettable first impressions! The services of a professional consultant, preferably one trained in the Munsell System, are invaluable for assessing your color palette, complimentary prints, accessories, makeup, body proportion, and fashion and hair style. Fees can range from $200 to $1000+, but, considering the money you’ve wasted buying makeup that just never worked, and clothes still hanging with their price tags in the back of your closet as you cry “I have nothing to wear!”, a professional analysis is a bargain. In the meantime, here’s a list of shopping hints to get your transformation started!

SHOPPING HINTS:

* To build a coordinated, workable wardrobe, determine your basic needs based on your lifestyle, such as professional, casual, evening, hobbies and athletic clothing. For each area, purchase a core outfit, such as a professional suit, a cocktail dress, slacks and complimentary jacket, plus a few blouses, sweaters, and accessories.

* You don’t need a king’s ransom to look like a million! Even drug stores carry quality makeup. Shop end of season sales, and consignment and thrift stores for quality clothes and accessories. Many a Princess does!

* Collect fabric swatches by asking a fabric store or seamstress to save you scraps. Also, don’t forget your closet! If you own colors in your palette, just snip a swatch from inside the hem. Keep your swatches in an envelope to bring when you shop.

* When shopping, first match the item to your colors. Next, double check in a mirror. Hold the item by your face, then ask the $64,000 question: “Does this color compliment or clash with my natural coloring?” If “yes,” try it on to check that the fit flatters your body. If color and fit are both “yes,” buy it. If color and fit are “no,” no matter how much you love it, pass. Remember, you glow when the colors that you wear compliment the colors that you are.

* To spice up any outfit, think accessories. Before you run out to the mall in those great fitting jeans, add sunglasses and earrings, or throw a beautiful scarf around the collar of your coat. You will radiate “I care how I look, and I look and feel great”! Not a bad first vibe, especially for an unsuspecting prince watching extraordinary you emerge from an ordinary crowd of shoppers.

* Gather your “other seasons” sisters for a wardrobe “swap meet.” Some of my favorite clothes, scarves, and jewelry have come from just such an event!

One final fashion accessory that promises to get you glowing every moment of every day: Believe you are the Princess worthy of the Prince you dream of. Then, dress to prove it.

3 Things Women Hate in Bed – A Woman’s Guide to Love and Lust

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

In this article we are going to discuss 3 things women hate in bed. If you are anything like MOST men, you are simply NOT satisfying your woman where perfumes counts most. Now I know that ALL celebrity my male friends think that doesn’t apply to them…but of course I know their GIRLFRIENDS so I just have to pretend they are the exceptions..:-) But seriously, if you are having some second thoughts about your skills in the sack, these simple rules should help you AVOID the things that are hurting your game and hampering HER passion for romance. Read on..:-)

There is NOTHING worse than being with a man who is indecisive in intimate moments. Look, lots of women enjoy being proactive and all, but you don’t want to stand idly by while she makes all the decisions..:-) Simply put, women enjoy a man who knows what he wants and goes for it.

Trust me when I tell you it’s a HUGE turnoff when you pick up and leave 3 seconds after it’s over. And I’m not talking about going home either. Heading to the living room to watch Sports Center counts. Hang out for a while…..she’ll appreciate it more than you know, I promise..:-)

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a HUNDRED times. Women love a man who is communicative in bed. This means…be EXPRESSIVE. Speak. Whisper. Say things you wouldn’t ordinarily say…she’ll love it, I guarantee it. But not saying ANYTHING is simply NOT an option for good sex. It’s boring and women REALLY need our minds stimulated as well as our bodies. This goes a LONG way in helping make that happen!

Filed Under: Penis Size IS Important!

Women admit that they would prefer a man who COMMUNICATES passionately during sex (which means she wants a little lusty dialogue..:-), they want you to learn the landscape a bit better ( understand her body) and they PREFER a man who has a powerful anatomy (a thicker penis is preferable) You can improve all three of these with JUST a little effort..and in my experience, the REWARDS they offer are EACH worth their weight in earth shaking orgasmic gold..:-)

Anatomy Of A Lie

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

People, businesses and governments lie for all sorts of reasons. For example, lies are told to gain power, profit, votes and simple solutions. Here is a lie that accomplishes all of these for the various parties involved.

The Lie

Business owners don’t want regulation, but they need to be regulated.

The Truth

Business owners almost always want more regulation, not less. Business owners fight regulations that harm them, but at the same time push for those that harm their competitors. Of course they want regulations – the ones that help them.

For example, once an industry develops to a certain point, existing players quietly call for licensing. Why? To exclude competition or make it harder for them to compete, in order to increase profits. Politicians get votes for picking up the cause, claiming that licensing is for the public good. But is it? Do we really think it’s a terrible crime to give a haircut without a license?

A carpet cleaner told me about “cutthroats” that clean too cheap. They don’t have the expensive training and equipment this guy has, so they can charge less. He doesn’t like that, so what is his solution to this problem of free competition? “Carpet cleaning should be regulated and carpet cleaners should be licensed.” That would force the cutthroats to upgrade equipment and training. “Better for the consumer,” he assured me.

Of course the “cutthroats” would either quit the business, or spend the money to comply with the new regulations, and so have to charge more. This, of course, means that the bigger players could compete more easily. That is the real point of such regulation.

Years ago I used one of the “cutthroat carpet cleaners.” Did he clean my carpet as well as the more expensive companies? Absolutely not. But it was good enough, and half the price. Now I have more income and would choose a better cleaner, but I like having the choice. Still, if they ever regulate the carpet cleaning industry it will be in the name of the consumer, and the cleaners will be the ones pushing for the regulations.

Such regulations are rarely meant for the public good. “Public good,” is a concept lawmakers use to hide the fact that they are creating regulations for the benefit of specific businesses and industries that have lobbied them. Politicians get votes from this lie, businesses get profits, bureaucrats get power, and the public gets simple solutions to imagined problems.

With enough money, you already have the ability to buy what you want, right? Want a higher quality business or bed or house? Just pay for it. A rich man doesn’t need regulations that force all businesses to comply with certain standards. He can pay for what he wants.

What about if you don’t have much money? In that case such regulations take away your cheaper options, making life more difficult for you (I just wouldn’t have had my carpet cleaned). So who do these regulations really benefit? Businesses, politicians, and bureaucrats.

What do we get from accepting the lie that businesses don’t want regulation but we need it? For some, it is the pleasure of “punishing” businesses owners with regulations (who ultimately want them anyhow). For the rest of us, it is fewer, more expensive options. By what logic could we expect higher quality or safety without higher cost?

The consumer, then, is the one that loses most from this lie – but rarely understands what is happening. As Warren Buffet says, “If after twenty minutes at the poker table you can’t tell who the patsy is, it’s you.”
