Do Celebrities Regret Plastic Surgery?

Posted on: Nov 03, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

What do celebrities such as Kathy Griffin, David Gest, Kenny Rogers, Jill Saward and others regret?

Do other celebrities such as Priscilla Presley, Cher, Joan Rivers and Melanie Griffith have the same regrets?

Are Michael Jackson, his sisters Janet and LaToya and Jackie Stallone related or do they, too, harbor regrets?

What do these celebrities have in common that causes them angst? Why, plastic surgery, of course!

Do you find it interesting that celebrities who can afford the very best surgeons and care often find themselves the butt of cruel jokes regarding their choices of using surgery and injections that were supposed to make them look younger?

Living in the limelight can certainly have its advantages and perks but there is a downside to living life on the red carpet and that is most likely why celebrities subject themselves to constant scrutiny that results in multiple procedures.

From nose jobs to breast implants, brow lifts to face lifts, cheek and chin implants, to eye lifts and regular use of Botox and fillers, the celebrity population keeps the plastic surgery business alive on both coasts.

John Q. Public loves celebrities and some even want to emulate them. Just peruse any woman’s magazine and you will find knock-off clothing suggestions from shoes, jewelry, sweaters, tops, slacks to coats coaxing the reader to look like a celebrity. Buying knock-off clothing and accessories to emulate a celebrity is just one step from wanting Jennifer Anniston’s nose or Madonna’s new cheek implants.

Aging with style and grace has been compromised with the advent of injections that plump and paralyze; add cutting perfectly healthy tissue, a very generous and sustained publicity blast that has kept these modalities forever in our psyche, and voila – faces are being cut, sutured, injected and altered at an alarming rate.

Do the procedures really help men and women to look younger and healthier? Do the risks outweigh the outcome?

Donda West and her untimely death easily comes to mind when you consider risks and benefits. Like Ms. West, many men and women in her age group have hidden health challenges that may not be uncovered until it is too late.

Choosing a well qualified surgeon is paramount; disclosing all medications, vitamin usage, previous health concerns and procedures will assist your health provider to determine your eligibility for plastic surgery. Choose a surgeon in good standing with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Plastic surgery is not a walk in the park.

Every surgery has its risks and dangers. Surviving a surgery then contracting MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is highly possible. This makes recovery especially difficult because eighty percent of facelift surgery infections are MRSA “Superbugs” according to a study conducted by researchers from the Lennox Hill-Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and published in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Other risks of cutting and suturing are that the results may not be what you anticipated. The skin surrounding the incision may not heal or act like your skin did previous to the procedure. Once healthy skin is cut, it is never the same. There is usually a loss of sensation (think Joan Rivers in the Geico commercial when she laments that she cannot feel her face) because the blood supply to the area has been diminished.

Injections that plump and paralyze do not always produce the desired results either. Too many visits with the syringe and you can begin to look freakish as taut and shiny are not synonymous with beauty and youth on a face that is trying to disguise old, wrinkled and droopy.

So what’s the healthy solution for creating a younger looking face so the user doesn’t have to suffer from invasive injections or risky surgeries?

The healthy solution is facial exercises. That’s right, just as exercise works to trim, slim and tighten your waist, tummy, hips, thighs, torso and arms, facial exercises will address each slack, droopy facial feature and begin to systematically from the inside out tighten, tone and lift the areas that make you look old, tired and even lop-sided.

Facial exercises are more reliable than surgical procedures and injections because they can return your face to the look you enjoyed years ago. Your friends and family will easily recognize you as you present a fresh, pretty face for the world to see.

The Oscar’s Style Alert – Strapless Gowns!

Posted on: Oct 21, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

At this year’s Academy Awards ceremony, not only were red gowns a huge hit amongst the style divas in the industry, but strapless gowns were also a must! If you’re preparing for a fancy event, find out how you too can look gorgeous like Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, and Renee Zellweger!

Tip: Nix the necklace! The trend for 2008 is to pair a strapless gown with…nothing! Most of these style queens opted for a bare neck, while wearing simple earrings, rings, and bracelets.

Sweet Honey star Jessica Alba looked absolutely glowing in her Marchesa gown, and it wasn’t just because she is expecting! The plum-hued gown matched perfectly with Alba’s complexion and she looked like she truly was floating down the aisle. Her accessories featured a yellow-gold color pair of diamond earrings, with matching layered bangles.

Tip: Yellow-gold jewelry looks absolutely marvelous with gowns of a richer tone, such as plum, navy, or dark green.

There certainly is something about Cameron Diaz. Her light-blush colored Dior by John Galliano gown also matched perfectly with her skin-tone, while the strapless neckline perfectly demonstrated her always-sculpted physique. Again Diaz chose to nix the necklace while sporting a cocktail ring and simple, diamond earrings.

Tip: If your tresses are not cooperating on your big night, simply pull your locks back into a loose ponytail like Cameron. I don’t care what the style critics say, she looks absolutely glamorous!

Presenter and Jerry Maguire star Renee Zellweger looked simply stunning in a silver beaded Carolina Herrera gown. As opposed to the simple, solid colors of Cameron’s and Jessica’s strapless gowns, Renee’s ensemble is all glitter and glitz, which makes it necessary to limit ones accessories. All Renee has to do to top off this ensemble is to slip on a couple of matching bangles and off she goes!

Tip: Note that each actress is wearing a gown that perfectly compliments her skin-tone. For richer olive-colored skin, deeper hues look absolutely phenomenal. For pale skin, pastel colors are a perfect match!

History of Wedding Favors

Posted on: Oct 20, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

When planning a wedding be sure to give special attention to the wedding favors. Wedding favors are given to guests as a thank you to friends and family for sharing in your special day.

Do you know what one thing is a favorite for not only wedding favor ideas but wedding gift ideas too? Candy! If you don’t know the couple very well or are just at a loss as to what to give them, a gourmet box of chocolate candy is sure to please.

To add a keepsake value to the candy wedding favor, many brides to be choose decorative boxes or baskets to hold the candy that guests gossip display and use in their homes to remember the day for years to come. The boxes and baskets can be decorated with the colors and theme of the wedding, and personalized to include the couple’s names, initials or help to tell the story of their lives and achievements with their design.

The favor boxes and baskets are then filled with chocolate candy of all types. Chocolate kisses can be found wrapped in many different colors of foil, or you can have them specialty wrapped to color coordinate with the wedding. Chocolate truffles, chocolate dipped pretzels, and chocolate-coated nuts are among the favorites to include. For variety, add some bite size versions of the all time favorite candy bar, hard candy in a variety of flavors and colors and don’t forget the candy cane. Candy canes now come in gourmet flavors and colors and with a bow tied around them make a nice addition to the mix. A candy coco chanel with card attached to the bow can also serve dual function as a placeholder and an after dinner mint.

Everyone loves candy and will find something in the box that makes their mouth water. The key to a great candy favor box is variety and of course the container. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Boxes can be paper, wooden, glass or crystal. The candy assortment can be wrapped in colored foil, tissue paper, any style of transparent gift-wrap or small fabric bags.
Confetti placed inside adds a fun & festive touch and a pretty bow tied around it another. This type of candy favor can also be tied around a larger favor such as a candle or bath salts. Baskets are very versatile and used later by the guests to hold keys, jewelry, and other small items
around their home.

When picking your wedding gift ideas, whatever your decision, be sure to include some candy. Chocolate candy, hard candy, the candy bar and candy cane bring out the child in all of us. And who knows better how to laugh, have fun and enjoy a special day better than children?

Underneath it All – Choosing the Right Bridal Undergarments

Posted on: Oct 20, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

When choosing their bridal ensembles, many brides focus only on the dress and veil, forgetting about the rest of the supporting cast. The right dress, though, can be spoiled by the wrong undergarments. Bridal undergarments can make cosmetics break an outfit, so it is important to select the appropriate styles for your wedding gown.

In your day to day life, you probably do not give much thought to your undergarments. In the morning, most women just grab something from the drawer and go. On a special occasion, you might think about wearing a piece of pretty lingerie, but that is about the extent of it.

When it comes to undergarments for your wedding, though, there is much more to consider. You might want them to be pretty, but really it is the function that matters the most. In fact, a lot of lace or other fancy trim can make a bumpy unattractive look under your wedding gown. If you can get away with something pretty, that’s great, but if not, don’t worry about it. You will have a lovely gown and sparkling bridal jewelry for adornment. Your bridal undergarments do not have to be decked out with crystals like a piece of jewelry!

Brides wearing strapless gowns will have several options, depending on the shape of the neckline and their figure. If you are small-busted, you can often get away without a bra; just have your seamstress sew bust cups into the bodice of the gown to give you shape and definition. On the other hand, some women want to enhance what nature gave them, and might choose a padded strapless bra to give them a boost.

Many dresses need to be worn with a bustier instead of a strapless bra because of a dip in the back of the bodice. There are many pretty bustiers available, but unfortunately, they only work under gowns with heavily embellished bodices. A safer bet is to pick a very smooth microfiber bustier with no visible boning. The nice thing about a bustier is that it smooths out the tummy as well as functioning as a bra. The boning also helps to keep you from slouching!

Some dresses cannot be worn with a bustier, either because the fabric is too revealing or the back is too low. In that situation, the best option is a high quality stick-on bra. It might sound odd, but brides absolutely swear by them. Be sure to get a high quality stick-on bra that is reusable, because you will need it not only for your wedding day, but for your bridal gown fittings as well.

Wedding gowns with full skirts make selecting undergarments for the lower half a breeze. All you need to worry about is a crinoline, if it is not built in to the gown. From there, you are free to wear the panties of your choice. You can even get ones that have “bride” embellished on the backside in crystals! A word of warning: many brides prefer a brief or boyshorts over a thong, because they find that the petticoat can tend to end up being uncomfortable against a jewelry bum. Also, you will have people under your gown doing the bustle, so take into mind how much of yourself you want them to see!

Bridal gowns with more fitted skirts will require more functional underwear. Look for very smooth microfiber panties that do not dig in at the waist or hip. The wrong undergarments can create some terrible looking creases and bulges. Also, no bride wants to have v.p.l. on her wedding day! Under some dresses, the best option is a longer smoothing foundation garment that comes down to the mid-thigh. It can provide a nice streamlined look and you avoid having the edges of the underwear show on your tush. Just be sure to pack something more attractive to change into for the wedding night!

To make sure that you are doing your gown justice, be careful to pick the right undergarments. An easy way to find the best fit is to bring along an assortment to your first bridal gown fitting and try them all on. The attendants at the bridal shop will be more than happy to help you find the ideal undergarments to make your wedding dress look perfect.

Finding the Perfect Engagement Ring for the Bride-to-be

Posted on: Oct 15, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

Do you know how the tradition of wearing an engagement news on the fourth finger of the left hand started? The ancient Egyptians started this tradition symbolizing undying love as they believe the love vein Vena Amoris ran directly from this finger to the heart. Later in AD 860 the Pope Nicolas I made this practice of wearing gold engagement ring official.

Here are some engagement ring ideas.

You want to be unique. Consider getting a colored diamond. They are rarer than white diamonds. In fact, only one in 10,000 diamonds is a colored one. The colors range from yellow, pink and blue. Remember Jennifer Lopez’s infamous pink diamond engagement ring ? A pink diamond ring is extremely rare and very expensive with prices starting from more than a hundred thousand. Yellow diamond is more common than the other colors and is definitely more attainable for a well to do couple. Generally, colored diamonds cost 25 to 50% more than white diamonds. In either case, choose a quality diamond by looking at the 4Cs.

Couples are also opting for bigger diamonds. The traditional one carat engagement ring has been superseded by 3 to 5 carat diamonds.

There are many new ideas for engagement rings. You can choose new diamond settings too. I understand round diamond is the most popular followed by the princess cut. The bezel setting is now very popular . Instead of the diamond being elevated, it is surrounded by metal. How about a tension set diamond engagement ring? The diamond seems to float and is actually held on its edges. It looks very cool.

Three stone rings are also hot now, the bigger center diamond is accented on both sides by smaller stones of the same shape. Guy Ritchie and Madonna,Phil Bronstein and Sharon Stone are two of the hottest Hollywood couples currently sporting them.

If you really want to be unique, consider antique diamond or heirloom diamond jewelry where the cutting was actually done manually by craftsman. You can then take out the old setting and place the diamond in a new modern setting. Alternatively, you can also consider getting a new diamond to be placed in your old setting thus making it unique.

The choice of metal is also quotes Platinum is sought after for its hypoallergenic properties. It is stronger and heavier than gold and will remain tarnish free forever compared to gold. Other innovative use of metal include two toned rings and even rings that combine three metals.

If you want different gemstone, consider alternative gemstones like Sapphires, rubies and emeralds.

If madonna is an issue, consider getting a gemstone that looks like the real thing such as Cubic zirconia or moissanite. Moissanite rates an impressive 9.25 on the Mohs scale ( a diamond is a perfect 10) which is harder than emeralds and rubies.A one-carat moissanite cost about $500 while a diamond of the same size may set you back by $6,000. You can always upgrade to a diamond ring on your next wedding anniversary.

10 Skin-Care Tips: Look Stunning in Your 40s

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

Stay Beautiful in Your 40s

Deeper wrinkles and reduced elasticity and firmness are the most common skin problems in this decade, as years of sun exposure and declining estrogen take their toll.

As you age, decreasing estrogen levels influence the production of other substances in your body. For example, the amount of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring chemical that helps keep skin firm, begins to decline, affecting your skin’s ability to retain moisture.

Oil production also slows down, reducing natural lubrication. To help counteract these changes, use creams that contain humectants (like glycerin, citric acid, propylene glycol, urea, and phospholipids) and emollients (such as petrolatum, shea butter, and cetyl alcohol) to seal in moisture.

Skin Care Tips

1. Amp up your regimen. Look for cleansers and toners with more moisturizing capacity. Exfoliate more often.

2. Check your eyes. The skin around your eyes is thinner and may develop more obvious lines, discoloration or puffiness. Use specialized spot treatments for the eye area.

3. Choose multi-tasking makeup. Many modern cosmetics gently treat as they cover. Use those especially designed for aging or damaged skin. Caution: Hold back on coloration as heavy makeup can make imperfections more glaring.

4. Pour on some body love. Indulge your body to improve your mood and alleviate the discomforts of hot flashes and night sweats. Use shower gels and lotions liberally.

5. Practice a regular cleansing routine. Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturize…this daily routine should carry you on your way toward healthier skin. Select a gentle skin cleansing jewelry that works for your specific type of skin – dry, oily, normal.

Using your selected product, cleanse face in a circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water, as hot water zaps skin’s moisture.

6. Daily use of sunscreen products with at least an SPF of 15 and antioxidants along with protective clothing such as full-brimmed hats, long sleeved blouses and shirts, and slacks instead of shorts will greatly reduce the aging of the skin and the possibility of skin cancer.

7. Facial skin care should also be of concern and sunglasses should be worn while outside. This will protect the eyelids from aging and will help reduce crows feet by reducing the squinting which comes from sun exposure without eye protection.

8. Scaly patches of skin can be a disappointment if you are planning to bare your skin. These spots are ‘eczema’, which presents itself in a number of ways, including itching, rashes and thickened brown patches of skin. People who suffer from hay fever and other allergies may be at greater risk of developing eczema.

Keep the affected areas well moisturized using a thick moisturizing cream. You can also try experimenting with a lotion containing AHAs to slough off the thickened skin. Avoid picking or scratching at the patches as this can lead to bleeding and scarring. Visit a dermatologist if the problem persists.

9. Frequent weight gains and losses can also dramatically affect the elasticity of the skin. When the weight is gained, the skin stretches to accommodate the excess weight. When a lot of weight is lost, quickly, the skin doesn’t have time to accommodate the changing contours and sagging and premature wrinkling can occur.

Gradual weight loss should not impact the skin, although a reduced calorie diet can cause the skin to look dull and lifeless unless the diet is well balanced.

10. Many studies have been done over the years demonstrating the healing and physiological properties of bovine colostrum. Colostrum helps the immune system to function more efficiently, maintain peak performance and fight acne causing bacteria.

Colostrum supplies growth factors (hormones) as well as stimulating the endocrine system to keep producing its own supply of hormones. Research strongly indicates that the combination of growth and immune factors in colostrum works together to create a potent anti-aging effect, including tighter skin, and regrowth of cells and tissue of organs that normally decrease in size with age.

Daily supplementation on Bovine Colostrum allows the body to have improved resilience against any type of stress. Overall health and well being is accomplished when the body has all of the necessary factors it needs for defense, healing and repair.

If you have special skin issues, such as stubborn acne, rosacea, or extremely sensitive or oily skin, the best thing to do is to seek out the advice of a professional dermatologist.

Pretty, healthy skin is well within your grasp, with a little bit of awareness, determination and persistence on your part. The results are definitely worth it. Live juicy and be happy with your largest organ!

Single Girl’s Guide to Makeover Magic

Posted on: Oct 13, 2008  By: admin  In all about  With: No Comments »

Let’s face it, girlfriends. Thanks to cable TV, we’re now addicted to endless episodes of makeover shows where each “Plain Jane,” with her closet-from-hell, learns to choose the right clothes, makeup, and hair style, then right before our eyes, transforms into a real beauty! And, ever notice how looking great makes her feel empowered? And, all in less than an hour! Amazing!

But, what if this new self-confident charmer is one of the millions of your single sisters on the hunt for Prince Charming, who happens to be on the hunt for his Princess Charming? Well, in that case, this might be the perfect time to check in with your mirror, mirror on the wall to see how you fair with all this growing competition.

You know, Cinderella had this so easy. With the wave of a wand, and a bit of “bibbity bobbity boo,” her fairy godmother morphed her from rags to riches, then sent her off to the Ball looking like the Princess she was about to become, and the rest is history!

In the real world, this all gets a bit more complicated. For starters, chances are your prince will first see you dressed for the mall, not the Ball. Plus, your chances of being the next TV makeover are pretty slim. You could hire a fashion savvy godmother, AKA a fashion consultant, but if a fee of $200 + is not in your budget, what’s a girl like you to do when the whole point is to leave a first impression that leaves a potential prince wanting more?

Well, a girl like you will take charge of her life. Presenting the I’ll Do It MYSELF Makeover!

You start with your face. Of course, if you’re thinking, “How ’bout I start with something else,” remember Cindy Crawford’s immortal words: “Even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.” So, again, your face is your focus, specifically the colors of your face. I promise you, when you learn how to use the power of color to compliment your eyes, skin, and natural hair color, just like on the makeover shows, magic will happen! Those eyes will sparkle and your complexion will glow. And, glowing is definitely a plus for first impressions, especially when your prince will remember forever the first time he saw your face.

On the other hand, glowing is practically impossible when you wear colors that plastic surgey with your own. For example, if you have watercolor eyes, translucent skin, and hair the color of soft wheat, imagine the catastrophe of deep bronze makeup, double black eyeliner, and a dayglow dress with dark chunky jewelry. Right! Not good! The strong colors overpower your own, and POOF! you disappear. Wearing colors paler than your own washes out your natural glow so you look tired and older than you are. Again, not good. To go for the glow, here are the “must knows” that make it happen!

UNDERSTANDING BASIC COLOR ANALYSIS

Many fashion consultants rely on the Munsell Color System to accurately determine a client’s color palette. This scientific system is based on three components: HUE, VALUE, and CHROMA:

HUE is simply the color’s name.
Simple Hues: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.
Compound hues: Yellow-Red, Green-Yellow, Blue-Green, Purple-Blue and Red-Purple.
VALUE: How light marriage dark a color is.
The more white in a color, the higher the value. True black has the lowest value, true white has the highest.
CHROMA: The clarity or strength of the color.
Muted, grayed colors have low chroma; clear, vibrant, bright colors have high chroma.

HOW TO DETERMINE MAKEUP COLORS

FOUNDATION: Match to the skin tone at the outer corner of your eyes. Blend the makeup on your face and neck, and then match to your skin tone in both indoor lighting and sunlight. Hint: To ensure you choose the correct foundation color, take a friend along for a second opinion.

EYE MAKEUP: Use your lash and brow color for everyday mascara, eye liner and brow pencil. For a more dramatic effect, increase the makeup’s color value. Choose eye shadow in your eye or brow color. Hint: Your eyes contain a rainbow of complimentary colors. Use a magnifying mirror to see the full spectrum.

LIPSTICK and BLUSH: Match to your cheeks and lips. Gently pinch both cheeks and lips, noting if the color goes pink, red, or orange.

With a bit of practice, your makeup routine will take you from ordinary to glowing in five minutes or less.

HOW TO DETERMINE WARDROBE COLORS

If you’ve spent a lifetime believing you can’t wear certain colors, then understanding Hue, Value, and Chroma opens up a whole new world. Just imagine! Red is not just one color, but a full range of options from yellow-red to purple-red, from pastel pink to deepest burgundy, all from which you choose the reds that compliment you.

REDS: Your cheek and lip colors
GREENS / BLUES: For green or blue eyes, use your eye color. For brown or black eyes, use green or blue in your eye “rainbow,” or use a color wheel to match your eye color to complimentary greens or blues. www.realcolorwheel.com/colorwheel.htm
YELLOWS: Trickiest of all colors to determine. Usually Summers and Springs wear soft yellow; Falls wear golden yellow; Winters wear intense, bright yellow.
NEUTRALS: Current or former (if your hair is colored or grayed) natural hair color, and eyes if primarily brown or black. Use neutrals for suits, coats, skirts, pants, jackets, shoes and purses.

These descriptions only touch the surface of how color transforms your self image and creates unforgettable first impressions! The services of a professional consultant, preferably one trained in the Munsell System, are invaluable for assessing your color palette, complimentary prints, accessories, makeup, body proportion, and fashion and hair style. Fees can range from $200 to $1000+, but, considering the money you’ve wasted buying makeup that just never worked, and clothes still hanging with their price tags in the back of your closet as you cry “I have nothing to wear!”, a professional analysis is a bargain. In the meantime, here’s a list of shopping hints to get your transformation started!

SHOPPING HINTS:

* To build a coordinated, workable wardrobe, determine your basic needs based on your lifestyle, such as professional, casual, evening, hobbies and athletic clothing. For each area, purchase a core outfit, such as a professional suit, a cocktail dress, slacks and complimentary jacket, plus a few blouses, sweaters, and accessories.

* You don’t need a king’s ransom to look like a million! Even drug stores carry quality makeup. Shop end of season sales, and consignment and thrift stores for quality clothes and accessories. Many a Princess does!

* Collect fabric swatches by asking a fabric store or seamstress to save you scraps. Also, don’t forget your closet! If you own colors in your palette, just snip a swatch from inside the hem. Keep your swatches in an envelope to bring when you shop.

* When shopping, first match the item to your colors. Next, double check in a mirror. Hold the item by your face, then ask the $64,000 question: “Does this color compliment or clash with my natural coloring?” If “yes,” try it on to check that the fit flatters your body. If color and fit are both “yes,” buy it. If color and fit are “no,” no matter how much you love it, pass. Remember, you glow when the colors that you wear compliment the colors that you are.

* To spice up any outfit, think accessories. Before you run out to the mall in those great fitting jeans, add sunglasses and earrings, or throw a beautiful scarf around the collar of your coat. There has been a murmur all along going round over the United Kingdom that Bingo games of U.K. are tilted slightly towards the feminine gender. This is not without some reason of course, as the British ladies patronize U.K. Bingo Clubs and exclusive Bingo halls large in numbers during evenings as a routine. This gathering of ladies consists of moms, aunts, cousins, grandmas and youngsters and all of them fancy playing Bingo games as an entertaining and enjoyable pastime.

Some curious online Bingo operators wanted jewelry ascertain the mind-track of the British women folk and in coordination with land Bingo Clubs and neutral agencies, conducted a survey recently. The participants of this big survey – gaining access and getting answers from 10,000 people in U.K. to the survey questions have revealed quite interesting facts.

The essence of the survey is throwing an amazing fact – women are happier and more fulfilled than men. Added information is the number of happier women increases as they get older and older. The main reason attributed by the survey participants is women are capable of handling multi-tasking (an admirable quality needed sunblock you are playing Bingo online – to hear or see the flashing Bingo numbers with one eye, daubing checked numbers, chatting with another member, counting the completed numbers and calculating how much to go to close a full house and adding money for betting at intervals – all of them at the same time) capabilities. This helps them in overcoming any stress or strain in struggles when bringing up their families.

Women are blessed with this ability of focusing on more than one thing at a time and therefore they enjoy life fully with its pleasures and fun – big or small.

On the other hand, men are genetically motivated to act as the breadwinner and all life of them is self-centered in assessing their worth in terms of money and how much they can bring home to win a social status. Nothing could distract them from this, fun or no fun. When they become old and retire from active money earning period, they get depressed of losing self-assumed importance. They tend to worry always that their working life has disappeared. A grumpy old man is thus born.

It is no wonder that grandmas in U.K. are happily playing Bingo games offline and online and grab up fabulous prizes every now and then as we see. What they should do is wake up their partners too and club them to play enchanting Bingo games along with. This way both ends are benefited – the Bingo Game Industry and disenchanted old men to get rejuvenated as well.

Playing Bingo games as pairs of old couples is a beautiful way of spending life happily together. You can have all the latest information about online bingo games and where you can play bingo online, including special offers from Mirror Bingo and no deposit bingo bonuses.

First Date Fashion – How to Impress Her Without Saying a Word

The first date is a big night for any man. A great way to start your date off on beauty right foot is to make sure you show up well groomed and put together. Presenting your self as a mature and responsible adult is as easy as taking time to groom your self and put together a date worthy outfit. These tips should help you successfully prepare for your first date and may even help you secure a second and a third.

  • Grooming and HygieneTaking care of yourself, making sure everything is clean, well trimmed, shaved, styled or shaped is important. Hygiene and grooming are a must for health reasons but beyond that they are also an important part of making a good impression. A women wants to know the man she is with knows how to take care of himself. When you go on any date, be it your first or fiftieth, make sure you always do the following things.
    • Shower
    • Shave or Groom Facial Hair
    • Brush Your Teeth
    • Moisturize
  • Deciding What to Wear

Taking care of your self means you’re a healthy and responsible adult, but your duties don’t stop there. You need to be able to present your self in a fashion that shows you are mature and have everything together. Women want to know they are dating a peer not inheriting a child who need mothering. How do you show her you are in fact a mature adult? The best way to do this on a first date is to dress the part.

Deciding what to wear can be quite the ordeal, but there are a few ways to help you choose the appropriate attire. Ask your self what type of date it is or where you will be spending the day or evening. If it is a semi casual date, maybe dinner and a movie, your best bet is either casual khaki’s or a pair of dark designer denim. Both choices are dressy enough to go to dinner yet not so formal that you appear stuffy. Depending on your particular style, you can choose a button down shirt, a polo, or a sweater. Unless this date is extremely casual, T-shirts should be saved for later on in your relationship.

You can spend all day picking out the perfect outfit only to have it sabotaged by a poorly chose pair of shoes. We all know that sneakers are far more comfortable than shoes, but so is going bare foot and I doubt you’d do lingerie Chances are, she is donning a pair of heels or at least nice shoes for your first date meaning you need to make the sacrifice and throw on a nice pair of casual yet classy shoes. This doesn’t mean you need to spend a fortune on a brand new pair of designer oxfords, but it does mean you should leave the sneakers or the worn out slip-ons at at home. When choosing shoes for your first date think business casual.

  • Pulling it All Together

You’ve brushed your teeth, styled your hair, you’ve found the perfect outfit and now you’re ready for the big date – or are you? Just because you have your clothing and grooming accounted for doesn’t mean your ready just yet. Believe it or not, accessories are a huge part of completing your outfit. Think your girl friends are nuts when they take a few moments to find matching purses, bracelets, and earrings? Think again. Accessories tie your outfit together and help you personify the image of being a well put together man. A watch, bracelet, belt, or necklace can add a little more depth to your wardrobe and show you pay attention to detail.

Now that you know how to look the part, the only thing left for you to do is act the part. Act confident, mind your manners, be your self and treat her with respect. With a some know how and a little luck you’ll be well on your way to a second date!
